About Engelheim Charter

In MemoriumIn Loving Memory - it is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a great man. On June 28, 2012, Oliver Earl Engel passed away surrounded by his children and loving wife, after a brief battle with cancer. Oliver was a man of vision, purpose and he possessed a great and unique sense of humor. He will be dearly missed. I think that every group that had the great privilege of a trip with "Ollie" has an unforgettable memory of his whacky one-liners. He safely transported hundreds of thousands of people of all ages, from all walks of life. He will be dearly missed by everyone.

1 July, in 1975, we started out with a school bus, providing a volunteer service to our community. Today we operate 5 highway coaches from Alberta, Saskatchewan and points in Manitoba to anywhere in Canada and USA.

Engelheim Charter began in 1975 when Oliver & Gladys Engel purchased a school bus for transporting local youth to Saskatchewan Roughriders football games, Regina Pats hockey games, and camping trips throughout Western Canada.

From the beginning, Oliver Engel has been the main driver, and his wife Gladys Engel has been managing the business. The business has steadily grown to a fleet of 6 buses (five 47 passenger, one 43 passenger, high-way coaches) in response to a demand for our excellent personalized service.

We operate under full authority in Saskatchewan and Alberta, and under limited authority in Manitoba. Our clients primarily comprise sports, school, university, church, band, choir, farm, and community groups.
